Cookies policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are set by us; others are set by trusted services we use to run the platform, such as our payment provider. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time — see how to manage cookies below.

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to work. They keep you signed in and let payments complete securely. The site cannot function without them. These do not require consent under PECR regulation 6.
• Analytics — help us understand how people use the site so we can improve it. We do not use analytics cookies today.
• Advertising — used to show you relevant ads on other sites. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

At present we set only strictly necessary cookies (authentication and payments). Local storage on your device remembers your last postcode and cart selection. PECR applies to any storage on your device, not only cookies — both items are strictly necessary for the service you asked for, so the same exemption applies. See the reference for details. Because we do not set analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies, no consent banner is required. If we introduce them, we will show a banner first and update this policy before they are set.

• Authentication — keeps you signed in and protects your session after you verify your one-time code.
• Payments (Stripe) — fraud prevention and payment completion when you pay by card. Stripe may set its own strictly necessary cookies when the payment form loads.

When you open a map preview, Google Maps may set cookies to display the map. When you enter card details, Stripe sets cookies inside its hosted payment form. We do not control those cookies directly, and their own policies apply. We do not pass your name or contact details to these providers through cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent under PECR regulation 6. We rely on that exemption for the cookies listed above. Any future analytics or advertising cookies will rely on your consent. We will ask for it before any such cookie is set, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay for the period shown in the Cookie reference — for example, authentication tokens last up to 7 days, functional preferences up to 6 months. You can delete them sooner in your browser settings.

Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
• Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in, booking, or paying. If you do not want analytics cookies in future, you will be able to turn them off without losing access to the service.

We will update this page when we change how we use cookies. Where the change is significant — for example, adding analytics — we will tell you before the new cookies are set.
